Cantus in the spotlight...

Well, what a couple of months...

From ITV to BBC Choir of the Year as well as preparing for Message in a Teardrop, it's been a busy period for Cantus!

Following our radio debut on Classic FM in October last year, May 4th saw our first TV debut as supporting choir for up and coming "Street Soprano" Hayley Moss on ITV's "Tonight at the London Palladium". From selfies with Peter Andre to chinwagging with Japanese comedy duo Gamarjobat, it was quite the experience!

On May 28th, Cantus then headed to Portsmouth for the first round of BBC Choir of the Year. We were amazed by the variety of choirs and performances, so were elated to have been not only selected to go through to National Selection, but were also awarded "Choir of the Day". As you can imagine, we were one happy bunch!

Next on the agenda is our exciting Summer Concert on 2nd July, when we'll be performing a World Premiere of Message in a Teardrop by our very own Composer in Residence, Alexander Campkin. We'll also be performing the stunningly evocative Howells Requiem - it's a concert not to be missed!

You can purchase your tickets on our Concerts page here.
